- All the Lori Holt & 30s reproduction fabric you will need to make the 76 1/2" x 76 1/2" Scrap-Apple Quilt top plus binding. (Three 10-inch Square Precut packs: Lori Holt Vintage Happy 2, Lecien 30's Child Smile & Penny Rose Storytime 30s, plus all background, borders and binding fabric)
- Kit fabric is very similar to the ones used in quilt sample with color and style representation*.

Backing fabric is not included, but click here for fabric that is similar in color and print to the one April used.
Backing Yardage Requirements: 7 1/4 yards of 42" wide fabric. April was able to get away with 5 yards for her backing (which left 4 inches beyond the quilt top all the way around) because the fabric did not have a directional print. No guarantees with this lower yardage amount, of course, but depending on how the backing is cut, with 7 1/4 yards you will have a lot left over for another fabulous project!
*Actual prints shown in quilt are not available and were used from April's years of collecting Lori Holt and 1930s reproduction fabrics. However, she has carefully chosen the best representation using the three different layer cakes shown. These specially selected fabrics will look very similar in color and scrappy vintage style to the sample quilt shown.
As some of you know, we were scheduled to go on our Singer Featherweight Cruise to Hawaii at the end of April, early May, 2020. This quilt, along with a few others, we were going to bring with us as a Pineapple Quilt sample. Featuring a warm, buttery-colored yellow background and the 30s and 40s replica prints April loves so much, this one was made from the Scrap-Apple pattern in Lori Holt's Scrappy Project Planner Book. Out of print and scarce to find, the pattern book not only contains this adorable pineapple quilt pattern, but many other darling scrappy quilts and quilty project planning pages, too.
